It begins in the house of our dear father, a prominent administrator in the glass container industry. Inspired by our mother, we adopted the surname Sastrus, a symbol of our artistic legacy.

One weekend, our father took me, Mauro, and my twin brother Vicente, to see the manufacturing process on industrial glass container machines. That transformative experience ignited our passion for glass and defined our future.

At the age of 14, we decided to start a business called Sastrus Arte Moderno, following in the footsteps of Picasso and using our mother's last name. We opened our first branch at Av. Ignacio L. Vallarta 1840, Colonia Americana, Guadalajara, Jalisco. There, we organized high-profile events that gave us national recognition. We received medals and honorary distinctions, and were recognized as pioneers of modernism in glass.
